I Just received this camera case and I think I like it. It seems designed to protect my canon--it fits like a glove and will be very accessible if worn on a belt (a feature I did not realize was included until opening the package). However, it was not what I expected from the online photo--I mistakenly thought this would be a soft soft zipper case of some kind that would fit in a pocket perhaps. As others say here you'll have to figure out some other place to store batteries and cables (not a problem for me). I'm more concerned about retrieving the camera for shots. Flap opening cases are sometimes tricky for extracting the camera quickly to take pictures especially if this case is being carried inside another bag. In this case the camera easily glides out with the use of the hand strap. We'll see how this works out over the holidays, I guess.Get more detail about Canon PSC-500 Deluxe Soft Case.
